Remedy Oak Golf Club, Dorset
– #37 – ‘Top 100 courses in the world’ Golf course in England 2014-15
– Open Championship Regional Qualifying Course
Remedy Oak, a relatively new course, was built in 2005 within 256 acres of ancient woodland. The course provides a secluded and tranquil environment in which to enjoy your golfing experience.
Designed by former Ryder Cup captain John Jacobs. Uniformly beautiful, nicely framed holes with different challenges requiring different shapes of shot.
Better for being cut through forest and mature trees, making the course appear older than it is. With time this course could well be become one of the finest in southern England. The 18 hole championship layout has been designed to challenge golfers of all levels. With various water hazards and tall woodland trees purposefully placed, golfers certainly need to choose their shots wisely.
Particularly strong par 5s (especially 2nd and 15th holes) and par 3s (in particular 4th hole at 224 yards).
