We had a fabulous week at Casa Roble as we celebrated our Wedding at the San Roque Club late September.
Since I was a child, our family has always enjoyed coming together and Casa Roble was the perfect place to make more memories as a family with enough space for 10 of us aged 8-80. In the words of my mom, mother of the bride, 'the villa was absolutely perfect'. The decor, the garden, the kitchen, and all the spaces where you could curl up with a book, play games, go swimming, have a nap, barbecue... whatever you needed at whatever time of day.
It had so much room for everyone, and we are all looking at dates to come back next year. Chris and the team were especially attentive with everything planned and easy to access and enjoy. Looking forward to our next family get together next year and beyond.

Great weeks holiday in fantastic large villa with enough space for 9 of us aged 83-16. Villa was equipped with everything we could have needed with a fabulous pool and lovely large kitchen. Chris at Gingerbeer Golf also organised tee times for 4 of us that worked seamlessly. He also connected us with local transfer company for airport transfers and a local chef who cooked for us for 4 evenings in the villa.
Would love to return to Casa Roble again and highly recommend using Chris at Gingerbeer Golf.

This was our second golf trip planned by Chris Toll at Gingerbeer Golf. We were a group of eight golfers on this marvelous trip to the San Roque/Sotogrande area of southern Spain. Chris is the ultimate planner. Kind, responsive and just an all round great person to work with. The courses he recommended were spot on and beautiful. We played 7 rounds of golf and stayed in the Villa Casa Roble in the San Roque club area. A wonderful fully equipped and beautifully furnished villa. A double pool and hot tub. Beautiful gardens and a gorgeous master bedroom and bathroom. All the bedrooms were spectacular with great bathrooms. The kitchen had everything needed to cook. Great laundry facilities. Very spacious for eight people or more. Pauline Taylor who checked us in was always available. Also great references for restaurants and grocery stores. The entire trip was reasonably priced. I will certainly use Chris’s expertise in the near future for either a return to St Andrews, Spain or a new trip to play in Portugal. If you want a fine golf trip then I highly recommend using GingerBeer Golf

As a young writer on the ITV holiday series Wish You Were Here..? I was quick to learn that beyond the brochures and the dictionary definition of a villa - a large and luxurious country house in its own grounds - there are villas and Villas. Having spent holiday breaks here with my own family, I can assure you that Casa Roble is a Spanish Villa with a capital V.

Set back discreetly from the private road between the Old and New courses of the San Roque Club, it is a good base for trips to the beach, the white towns of Andalucia or Gibraltar. The listed facilities speak for themselves: luxurious living room, furnished with soft sofas, a grand piano and a secret door leading to two of the bedrooms, the master suite reached via the impressive marble staircase; the infinity pool splashing into a second pool below, sun beds and jacuzzi, the giant palm tree and surrounding cork oaks in the manicured gardens and a classic old style courtyard perfect for al fresco dining. All five star hotel familiar but here with the reassuring comfort of a well run home from home. An extremely well equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds, always well maintained and spotlessly clean.

For those in need of a retreat it is the perfect sanctuary. You could spend days without ever straying beyond the garden gates. The views from the terraces down to the Mediterranean and across to the mountains of the Sierra Bermeja lift the spirits and relax the body. I get the same joyful feeling on the approach to the ever welcoming, always comforting, Casa Roble.

This was our 2nd holiday in this outstanding Villa. The house is just perfect to accommodate our large family and enjoy the spacious rooms & family style kitchen. Gorgeous garden & pool area which led to many evenings enjoying BBQ's outside. As keen golfers the location being on the San Roque Golf Course could not have been more convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a 3rd visit hopefully next year.

Fantastic house, even better than it may seem in photos. Everything has been very easy thanks to the staff. Highly recommended! No doubt, we will come back again.

A wonderful house, in a spectacular and quiet location. Perfect to enjoy with the family.

This is a magnificent home, full of all the luxuries you need for a great trip. We were here with young kids and it was perfect. We didn’t stray far from the house all week. The garden with the huge canopy’s of shade were wonderful to let kids run around. The pool was great - and lots of fun spent in there. Perhaps the best feature is the open big living room with fully accordion doors that open back. This was great for getting in the shade and still enjoying the outdoors. I would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to escape with a group or family. The host Chris was also incredibly helpful in helping us prepare with recommendations for transfers, cribs, ordering supplies etc. This was hugely helpful.
